Hi, this is Anne with an urgent appeal for Nicolina, my friend's daughter in Kenya.

Nicolina was born with two rare and complex conditions:

Morgan Syndrome and

Marfanoid Progeroid Lipodystrophy.

She has lived a brave life full of hospital visits, surgeries, and pain. Most recently, she underwent spinal surgery and received metal rods—but now her body is reacting dangerously to the implants.

She has developed severe metallosis, and the rods must urgently be removed. The reaction has left her in critical condition, on oxygen support, and at risk of fatal infection. She now requires urgent surgery in India to remove the rods, clean the infected area, and reconstruct the wound with cross drainage.

She has been given a lifeline, but it comes at a steep cost.
