Nicole's Urgent Need: Struggling After Divorce

Hi, my name is Nicole. This picture is on my wedding day in 2005, as proof that not all fairy tales have a happy ending.

**I divorced him last May 2024 for too many reasons to list.**

I worked for his business for 24 years and was no longer receiving a paycheck as he would not show up and help make a profit. I unfortunately took out a personal loan to keep the business afloat as well.

I let him have everything and left with the clothes on my back and a few personal items.

**I'm owed as an "employee" back pay, business loan, and in the divorce decree, alimony. Roughly $60,000.**

He has not paid anything! He refuses all certified correspondence. He will not respond to phone calls, texts, or emails.

I have been job hunting endlessly and have had no luck thus far.

I have applied to the state for any assistance available as well as the state officials to enforce alimony and am waiting patiently.

I have depleted my IRA and savings to survive the past year as well as selling what I could.

**Unfortunately, I'm at that point where I am destitute and will barely be able to pay rent next month, let alone move.**
