Nicole's Urgent Need: SJS Recovery

Dear Family, Friends and Kind-hearted Community Members,

It is with extreme concern that we announce that Nicole Curzon Pond is in desperate need of prayers and help. She is a cherished friend, wife, daughter, and sister. She loves to smile and make her family and friends happy.

While in Florida last week, she had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic she was taking and has developed Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, a rare problem that affects 5-6 people/million. Her body has blisters, which act like burns, over 75-85% of it. She was taken by ambulance from an instacare to the hospital and transferred to a burn hospital in Florida. It is estimated she will be in the plastic/burn trauma ICU for at least three weeks. She is intubated, has a feeding tube, and her entire body is wrapped in gauze. She has surgery every two days to clean the blisters and redress all of her sores, and they have no idea how long her body will continue to produce the blisters. Right now, the doctors don’t know what to expect, but she has a good team of doctors helping her with her eyes, her organs, her skin, her breathing, etc.

Please donate anything that you can spare as it will help with the tremendous medical bills Nicole and Chandler will have, plus it can support Chandler and their parents that have traveled to Florida to be at her side. Please pray for her recovery!
