Support Nicole's journey to Fight MS

Hi everyone,

My name is Nicole and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. I am a dancer, a dance teacher, and a mother of two beautiful young children. Dance has always been my passion and my profession. It is not just what I do; it is who I am. Dance is my expression, my joy, and my livelihood.

My MS Journey

Ten years ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a debilitating disease that attacks the central nervous system, stripping away the very balance and coordination that are essential to my craft. Over the years, I have fought hard to maintain my ability to dance and teach, but MS has gradually eroded my independence, making even the simplest daily tasks a struggle. The toll it has taken on my body has also impacted my ability to care for my children, which breaks my heart every single day.

A Glimmer of Hope: HSCT Treatment

However, there is hope. I have the opportunity to undergo a treatment called Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) in Mexico. This treatment has shown incredible promise in halting the progression of MS, giving patients like me a chance to reclaim our lives and our futures. HSCT involves intense chemotherapy to reset the immune system, followed by the transplantation of stem cells. It is a challenging and rigorous process, but it offers the best hope of stopping MS in its tracks.

Why I Need Your Help

The treatment is not available in my country and will require me to travel overseas, leaving my family behind for a significant period. The cost of the treatment, along with travel and accommodation expenses, is substantial and beyond what I can manage on my own. This is why I am humbly asking for your support.
