Here we go again, I wish we were writing a positive 5 year update. But God has other plans....

Quick Bio: In Oct 2019, Nicole was diagnosed with an anaplastic astrocytoma while on maternity leave with their twin boys. On November 5, 2019, Nicole went thru brain surgery to remove the tumor then went through chemo and radiation.

Last year in May, Rob & Nicole’s middle child Chase was diagnosed with acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of 12. He has endured a grueling treatment for the past year and will continue to be treated weekly at CHOP in King of Prussia, which is 45 min from their home.

Fast forward to now...

On May 5th 2025, Nicole went for one of her routine 5 month follow up MRI & oncology appointments where it was found that another tumor had grown in the same area of the previous tumor, plus a smaller one behind it.

After consulting with the surgeon and radiology oncology team, they have been advised that this is a reoccurrence and the tumor has to be removed as soon as possible. It could be another astrocytoma or it could have progressed to a glioblastoma. We won’t know until pathology from surgery comes back.

Nicole will undergo surgery on June 6th to have the tumors removed. We ask that you join us in prayers as Nicole & the family as they embark on another tedious road ahead.
