I started studying at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) last year - September 2014-. The experience has been amazing; I identify with the school and have adapted pretty well. In fact academically I had never done so well before. But before, in 2008 I began studying Sociology in the public university back home, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, but after almost 4 years I had to drop out because of the public school system. It would have taken almost 4 more years to graduate.
So I decided to study Fine Arts in Altos de Chavón and graduated with an Associate’s Degree. It was the best decision I ever took, and I continued my studies here in SFAI. Now I only need one more year to finalize my undergraduate studies, but it is very expensive and I already am paying two student loans. The school has helped me as much as it can, I have a portfolio scholarship and have received extraordinary help.
I require donations from people who are interested in collaborating with my career as an artist.

Yo comence a estudiar en San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) hace ya un año (Septiembre, 2014). La experiencia ha sido increíble pues me identifico con la escuela y he podido adaptarme al sistema muy fácilmente.
En el 2008 yo empecé a estudiar Sociología en la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo, RD, mi país de origen. Sin embargo tuve que dejar la carrera pues el sistema público hacía todo mas lento. Ya había hecho casi 4 años allí, pero me hubiese tomado unos 4 años más finalizar. Entonces decidí ir a otra escuela, la Escuela de Diseño Altos de Chavón, allí me gradué con un grado de Asociado, y pude aplicar a SFAI. Actualmente solo necesito un año más para poder graduarme de mi Licenciatura (Bellas Artes, mención Escultura).
Ya SFAI me ha ayudado bastante, actualmente cuento con una beca por mi portafolio de arte, y he obtenido ayuda extraordinaria. Sin embargo requiero de la colaboración de personas que deseen apoyar mi carrera artística.
Si está interesado o interesada en colaborar, yo demostrare mi gratitud con piezas de arte.
