My name is Leah Kaplan, I'm a friend of Nicole Widdersheim.  Hurricane Michael hit Mexico Beach on October 10th, decimating huge parts of the city.  Nicole and her mother Susan's house has sustained large-scale damage.  The money raised from GoFundMe will cover much needed supplies such as water, gasoline, debris removal, non-perishable food items, medical supplies and then assist with longer term needs to fill in the gaps left by insurance coverage and to make her house liveable again.  Once Nicole's costs are covered, any additional funds will be donated to supporting local organizations and businesses.
