At 3 a.m., August 20, 2019, Nicole was fleeing from her abuser in her car.
While trying to escape from him, she crashed into a tree, shattering her leg and destroying her vehicle. She had no phone service and her abuser refused to get her help. He continued abusing her while she was suffering and trapped in her crushed car.
A neighbor came upon the scene, who went and called for help. Nicole was rushed to the hospital where she had surgery on her leg.
Nicole needs support to heal from this harrowing experience. Her car is totaled, she has bills to pay, and she will be unable to work with a broken leg.
