Hi my name is Tracey Stalter and I am helping set up a GoFund Me for a dear friend. Here is information from Evan: Hi everybody, this is Nicole Weaver's son, Evan. On Monday, Nov. 7, my mom had a scheduled lung biopsy at Parkview Regional Medical Center to remove a lung nodule she developed after having COVID-19 some time ago.

About 8 minutes into the procedure, my mom had an air embolism, something so rare that doctors don't even warn patients of before the procedure (20,000 U.S. cases a year). That embolism resulted in a heart attack and her going into cardiac arrest for 19 minutes.

She was resuscitated and stabilized, but suffered a 4-minute seizure just a few hours later, where my family was then told she may not make it through the night.

By God's grace, she did make it through the night, and has been slowly making improvements day-by-day.

In the days after, she contracted pneumonia, but has recovered from that in the past couple of days.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, my mom's ventilator was removed, and has been talking ever since, mostly about being in pain from the 6 broken ribs following the CPR and the doctors not giving her a Sprite!

I write this from my mom's hospital room, as she continues to recover and hopefully be taken off her feeding tubes or moved to general population in the next couple of days, and my family just asks for both prayers and any donations you can give to help with my mom's medical expenses and our family's bills until she can return to work.
