Dear friends, family, and community,

On Saturday, April 23, 2022 at approximately 10 pm, Nicole Megan Strauhal, daughter of Frank and Karen Strauhal, sister of Ben, Peter, Jonathan, Julia, Frank, and Justin, fiancé to James, and mother to Amelia and Oona passed away in a sudden and tragic medical emergency.

Family, friends, and community...

Nicole was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be dearly missed by many. She was a colorful adult, loved all kinds of music, loved to travel and experience new things. She had been especially helpful lately, caring for her disabled brother Ben and niece Chloe. We will all miss her smiles and hugs, her hilarious storytelling, always rolling her eyes, and bubbly laughter. She would be heartbroken to know that her family was left without her and having to take the necessary steps to lay her to rest and look to their futures without her there to help. She was young, only 30 years old, and Amelia and Oona are both very young girls who are now without their mother.

Her family will need our help to cover these sudden funeral expenses and paying bills while orienting to what's next. As you can imagine, they were not prepared for this to happen, and it was on the to-do list, but... who would have seen this coming?

Please donate to help the family pay for proper services and a memorial. These funds will pay for this and help lessen the financial strain on Nicole's family during this devastating time. Amy remaining funds will put toward her girls future.
