My name is Julie and I am fundraising for Nicole King.

Heartbreaking tragedy has struck the once vibrant life of Nicole King in the form of a very aggressive cancer. April 29th 2022 Nicole was forced to seek emergency treatment where it was discovered that she had endometriosis, uterine cancer cells and a mass on her ovary. As each test that followed revealed the cancer was spreading at an accelerated rate throughout her body. Within a short time of only 3 weeks the cancer had spread to 6 more organs and growing. The cancer facility in Michigan provided little to no hope and no treatment options. With Nicole’s strong will to survive and the support of her loving family and friends, Nicole sought treatment on the West Coast. The Cancer Facility agreed to treat her with the understanding that her situation was grave. After only 8 days of treatment Nicole became even more ill and was transported to a large hospital near San Diego, CA. Further test revealed that the cancer has taken over her entire body. End of Life Treatment is now in progress. Nicole’s husband Christian King, sister Andrea Herrod and her parents Don (who has accompanied her this entire time) and Mary Sue Whipkey have all joined Nicole in Chula Vista, CA to be by her side during her final journey.

Nicole is too sick, fragile, and full of pain to make the journey back to MI. She has been transferred to a Hospice House where she is getting pain management. Nicole’s family have all been staying in a nearby hotel. The continued escalating cost of Medical Bills, Airfare, Ubers, Food, Lodging and the pending Funeral Cost is already enormous. With Chris being by her side there is no income either. Their Health Insurance will NOT cover the Medical Bills, hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth, that have been piling up due to being Out of State and Out of Network.

Nicole has always dedicated her life to helping others. Giving of time and money without question or fail. Her passion was helping our US Military Vets. She felt the deep need to give back all that she could out of respect for their unquestioned call to duty. Nicole has always pursued a life of giving and helping others while working in the hospital, optometry and being a part of The Order of Eastern Star. Through her business, Natural by Nicole, she donated more of her services than what she ever charged. This IS a Person who has always gave freely of herself to helping others and now more than ever She and Her Family Need Our Help.
