Nicole (Kerfien) Claytor & Matthew Claytor

On February 5th, 2024 my twin sister Nicole (Matthew’s wife) was involved in a terrible car accident. Shorty after dropping their daughter Rosemary off at school that morning she suffered a stroke while she was driving. As a result of this she was very badly injured in the accident. She has been at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center since the day of the accident. She was in the ICU from the 5th-17th, but has now been moved to the PCU portion of the hospital where she is currently still receiving medical care. She has suffered numerous injuries. She has a fractured right orbital bone, fractured right shoulder, broken right clavicle, broke almost every rib on her right side, fractured right pelvis, fractured right knee, broken left leg, shattered left ankle, punctured lung, torn diaphragm and left side weakness from the stroke. Miraculously she survived the accident. We thank God everyday that she did. First and foremost prayers for Nicole, for a successful recovery and prayers for the family are requested. I am creating this fundraiser to help raise the funds needed to cover her medical bills as well as for the funds that will be needed for her recovery process, as well as to help her family as she will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time and unbelievably workers compensation has been denied for her. Matt has had to take time off work since the accident to take care of Rosemary, household affairs, as well as to take care of Nicole while she has been in the hospital. Medical bills and everyday expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming for them right now. Their family is heading into a multitude of unknowns as Nicole has a long road to recovery ahead of her. I am asking for help for her and her family so that the mental and financial stresses that are mounting from this accident can be lessened for them. My sister Nicole is a home healthcare nurse and has devoted her life to helping others and now she is the one in need of help. All donations will go straight to Nicole and her family to help them during this time.
