This story really starts with last December when we lost my daughters horse Jake to colic. We had to put him down right in front of my daughter braking my heart that she was loosing her best friend. She never wanted to ride a horse again. But I did not want her to leave the loving family of the horse community we had been in for so long and felt she needed to go on. We pushed forward and found an amazing boy TREIS an X race horse with a new job of barrel racing and gaming and brought him home on Christmas Eve last year. We threw him to The Highschool equestrian team with in two months of getting him and he was phenomenal. Making it to state. This new team was growing stride by stride every time they rode. We then kept going with Pierce county 4 h and again they made it to state. Then the unbelievable happened she was running poles and something went wrong terrible wrong but that boy pushed through and finished there run limping. We called Tacoma Equine hospital to come out and they found that he had run so hard for Nicole that he fractured his cannon bone. We were in hopes of a full recovery but then once he laid down from exhaustion and pain it shattered. We have with a lot of effort from Tacoma equine veterinary Dr Galen been able to get him to the surgeon pilchuck hospital. prognosis is touch and go and surgery is scheduled for Monday this will be very expensive but worth every penny to save this boy's life he is the most amazing horse and loves my daughter and she loves him. Please help and send lots of prayers.
