If you know Nicole Grehn, you already know she is one of the most giving humans you will ever meet. Nicole leads with compassion in everything she does. As a dedicated nurse practitioner, she pours 100% of herself into caring for her patients. And as a bilateral amputee, she goes far beyond her own challenges to lift others up — mentoring through Camp No Limits, Limb Kind, and countless peer-support platforms. She shows up for everyone, every time, with empathy, strength, and a heart that never stops giving.

Nicole is the person who gives everything she has to others and never asks for anything in return. That’s exactly why I’m creating this GoFundMe for her. She would never ask for help herself, but right now she truly needs it.

What Happened

Nicole has been struck with unbelievably bad luck over the past few years.

• Her first car was totaled when a U-Haul made an illegal right turn and crashed into her. She had to drain her savings to replace it.

• Just recently, her second car was also totaled when another driver made an illegal left turn directly into her.

Thankfully, Nicole was not physically injured in either of these recent accidents.

But both crashes left her with major financial burdens through absolutely no fault of her own.

Not only has she lost two vehicles, but the insurance payout on her most recent car didn’t even cover what she still owed on the loan. Now she is left with a car loan balance on a vehicle she no longer has, the urgent need to purchase a new car, and the cost of the rental she must use to get to work and continue her peer-mentorship commitments.

Why She Needs Help

Nicole relies on her car for everything including getting to her patients, supporting families through her mentorship work, and managing the everyday responsibilities that come with her own medical needs. She has already done everything she can on her own, but this situation is more than anyone could absorb alone.
