The day after Christmas, my younger sister, Nicole Endfield, and her husband, Deven Endfield, were given a late Christmas gift of their first child, Logan Tom Endfield. Logan was born 2.5 months earlier than his expected due date and weighed only 2 lbs. 2.5 oz. Still, he came full of spirit and is very feisty when it comes to changing him.
With him being undersized and born prematurely, Logan will have to remain in the hospital in an incubator until he is able to gain upwards of 4 lbs. Until that happens, my sister and her husband will be able to take him back home to Ganado, AZ. Currently, Logan is in Albuquerque, NM.
With him needing to stay in Albuquerque, NM for the next month or two, this will take my sister and her husband away from their jobs, as well as their daughters and nieces back home. Albuquerque is a 3-hour drive from Ganado, just under two hundred miles, one direction. We are trying to raise funds to help with the cost of the commute and the extended stay in Albuquerque for them. With the long drives, long stays, and being away from their jobs, whatever you can help with to support them getting by until they can get Logan home will be immensely helpful. It will be a bit of a struggle, but it is all going to be worth it for Logan Tom Endfield.
