Nicole Anson has always been a fighter, and now she’s facing one of her biggest challenges yet. Recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer, Nicole underwent surgery just a couple of weeks ago to remove an aggressive, fast-growing tumor. She is now preparing to begin four months of chemotherapy, a journey that will require all her strength and determination. During this time, Nicole will be unable to work, making the months ahead especially difficult both physically and financially.

Despite everything, Nicole remains in good spirits and is slowly recovering from surgery, though she is understandably very weak. Her love for salsa dancing has been a guiding light in her life—she moved to Hawaii eight years ago, fell in love with the island, and has been part of the local dance community ever since. She dedicated the past two years to refining her dance skills, taking extensive lessons and working hard to get to an even higher level on the dance floor. Also another accomplishment, Nicole proudly received her bachelor’s degree in August 2025, a testament to her perseverance and drive.

Now, Nicole needs our help. The funds raised will help cover her living expenses and medical costs during the 4–6 months she’ll be unable to work. Your support will allow her to focus on healing and, one day soon, return to the salsa dancing she loves so much.
