Nicolas Vargas and the future of Jeriah Vargas

Hello, we are Norman Hutchings, Araceli Vargas, and Cristina Ramirez, the parents and partner to Nicolas Laron Vargas. In the late hours of October 12th, our worst nightmare became reality as we received the devastating news of Nick’s sudden passing. This loss has left us with an indescribable and suffocating pain. With the strength that we have left, we are asking for help in honoring Nick’s memory.

Nick was a son, brother, father, boyfriend, and friend, known for his boundless love and infectious personality. Regardless of his relationship with someone, Nick was the type of person that loved deeply and openly, his presence rarely failing to bring a smile. He lived and dreamed bigger than any other, always chasing the next opportunity and eager to share this with his loved ones. His greatest accomplishment came recently with the birth of his own son, Jeriah, slightly less than a year ago. Although Jeriah likely won’t remember the beautiful times he shared with his dad, our goal is to keep Nick’s light alive in him and ensure he knows who his father was as well as how much he loved him.

Though we couldn’t always keep up with his larger-than-life ideas, this is our chance to show Nick that we have always truly heard him and will do everything in our power to celebrate him in the way that he deserves. All donations will go towards Nick’s funeral expenses and to support Jeriah’s future. Any help, be it donations, thoughts, prayers, or other support is extremely appreciated as we all navigate our grief and strive to keep Nick’s spirit alive in each of us. Unfortunately, this Earth lost a beautiful soul way too soon and with this tragedy we want to remind everyone to never underestimate the value of what you have and to hug your loved ones whenever you can.
