Truly appreciate your donations.
His last wish is for his remains to be buried in his Homeland of Ukraine. Please help to support the family grant his last wish as he finishes through his last moments of pain and suffering while battling cancer & Pneumonia.
Health History: Dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in 2012 and the cancer was treated, he was in remission for almost 3 years. After that, he started getting all types of carcinomas that were operated on. Small tumors like underarm, two surgical removals were done, adrenal gland, part of the kidney and then on the liver. Latest cancer was found in his head, behind the bone near the back of his skull. He was receiving chemo treatments up until a few days ago, when he got pneumonia. He was taken to the ER, then ICU where his body is having trouble fighting off the infection now.
He has been in United States since early 90's and currently resides in the US with his 2 daughters. His younger daughter who now has a family and 2 young children, originally looked after him while also going to all the chemo and radiation treatments through the earlier part of his battle with cancer. Recently the older daughter (Halyna) has been taking care of him and taking him to all doctor appointments. Due to constant medical treatments and now hospitalization, it has had a significant impact on their ability to work and keep up financial obligations.
The funds donated through GoFundMe are going into a specific savings account (Harrison is managing the finances) to Benefit Nikolai through his daughter Halyna who is taking on credit card debt for the difference owed on funeral costs. So far the donation money has been applied towards (but not enough to cover all) funeral services in the US, flying his Nikolai's remains to Poland and the Polish funeral home transporting by ground to Ukraine. Future donations will go towards Funeral/Burial costs in Ukraine and credit card debt incurred from funeral costs for Nikolai.
