My dear friends and family, as many of you know, my sister Nicola unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 26 during what was intended to be a routine surgical procedure. While we currently lack answers regarding the cause, we are certain of one thing: she is profoundly missed by all who knew her. This has been a sudden and devastating event for which none of us were prepared. I have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to assist with funeral expenses, enabling us to provide her with a fitting farewell. Nicola was a cherished sister, mother, daughter, and partner, but most importantly, she was Nikki. Those who knew her will remember her strength of character, outspoken nature, and remarkable resilience, particularly during the past year as she coped with the loss of her daughter, Athena, and subsequently, her father. Words seem inadequate at this time, as I am still in shock by everything that has happend given she was fit and healthy the day of her op , but our focus at the moment as a family is getting answers and to ensure she receives a good and respectful send-off . all moneys raised will be going towards her funeral.
