Fundraiser for Nicky and family

Hello, my name is Chris and I would like just a few moments of your time to explain my families situation. I would like to start by saying that life can be great and life can at times be..... not so great. We all have our ups and downs. Usually the downs are not so bad and easy to bounce back from. Then there are the rare times when things become overly difficult for families.  This is one of those times for me and my family. We as people never know or expect life to throw us curve balls. Life is usually smooth sailing and very routine. Well that all changed for us when my girlfriend got hurt at work right before she went out on maternity leave. As you can imagine, this complicated things for us and got more complicated as time went on. Nicky ( my girlfriend ) filed for workers comp just like anyone who gets hurt on the job would. Things were fine for a little and then out of nowhere her claim was denied. The company basically did their investigation, marinated on it for a while and then denied her claim. They did not pay for her visits, they did not pay for her to return to the doctor after getting better and ultimately as well as unjustly did not allow her to come back to work. Nicky as of now has been out of work for months and we are down thousands of dollars. We are in danger of losing our house, our car and everything we hold dear because we cannot afford the payments or bills. We are so far behind and are unable to catch up and really just need someone to throw us a bone. Plainly put; We need help and a lot of it. It is a lot to ask from people like you who do not know us but if you can lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated and never forgotten.



What we need now is some major financial assistance to help us get out of a bad spot, put us back in a good spot and possibly push us ahead, otherwise we will continue to fall further benhind. We have untilities, we have house payments, we have car payments, we have medical payments, we have credit card payments (Because we had to use our credit to pay for the bills we didn't have money for) etc. And on top of all that, we have two children who need a roof over their head and food in their bellies. My 3 month old son Loki just came into the world and shouldn't have to suffer for something he didn't do. Corey (her 7 year old son) is doing well in school and making friends. Corey shouldn't have to deal with his life being uprooted because we got evicted for something that was beyond our control. Bad things can happen to good people and when that happens we should be there for each other to lend a helping hand. All I ask is for whatever support you can offer to help us through this rough time. We don't know when my girlfriend will be able to return to work or get another job and I alone am unable to hold down the fort any longer. You are probably thinking that this isn't your problem and you would be correct. No one has to donate but any form of assistance would be amazing. Only with your help do I believe my family and me can get through this. Just spare what you can if you can and if you have nothing to give, keep us in your prayers.
