Nicky Johnson and children

Hi, my name is Emily Bentley. I have been a close friend of the Johnson Family since 2014 when I first met Nicky at a Big Life retreat. I knew only 1 person going in to the retreat but Nicky did not let me sit out. She and her best friend Catina would not have anyone feeling left out. The first thing I noticed about Nicky was her zest for life and her love for her husband, children and friends despite any craziness in her past she had to overcome. Nicky was the kind of wife that people aspired to be like. She woke up unnecessarily early every morning just to make her husband's lunch and send him off to work for the day. Scott and Nicky have been together since they were teenagers and spent more of their lives together than apart. Nicky is the type of person that helps people but doesn't like to accept help from others. Her husband Scott was killed in a tragic accident. Scott was the main provider for their household, which includes 2 grown children, 1 child in college, 1 child in High School and 1 child in Middle School. Nicky is a school teacher and I know income will be tight. While I know she would never willingly accept financial help, she has helped so many people with her infectious positivity and I know we would all like to give back in some way. While nothing we can do or say will bring Scott back, I know even the smallest donation will help my sweet friend and her dear children.
