I was Nickys Muay thai coach Shane Mcilroy, he trained he fought, he won, true warrior with a the heart of a lion, always had his demons but the ring was where he let it out, Muay Thai was his true love it's what kept him going he always needed a goal to strive for,he was a champion my champion unfortunately Nicky lost his fight. life is such a cruel thing and if we lighten the load for his parents to bear at this tragic time by raising some funds and highlighting the need for mental health awareness, maybe Nickys life will not have been in vain. rest easy brother
