Support Nick Monsall through brain & lung cancer

Hi.
My name is Marama Grace and this is my Dad, Nick (though some may know him as Patrick).
On the 4th of January this year, he learnt that he has stage IV adenocarciona (aka lung cancer).
On the 23rd, he had a pet scan, and only the lung cancer showed.
On the 30th, dad had a car accident, hitting a divot, foot slipping off the brake and hitting the accelerator, before speeding off the road and into a tree, flipping the car and writing it off.
On the afternoon of the 30th, we learnt through a CT scan of his whole body post-accident, that along with a fracture in his neck, the tumours have spread to his brain, and rib too.
We have spent the last 4 weeks since, in hospitals up in Canberra and down in the Eurobodalla region where we live. He's completed his first bout of Radiotherapy on the brain and currently on his first dose of Immunotherapy. And although it's been a long month, we're believing for good results, and as we pray, and heal, we're seeing breakthroughs already.
And have just received a $4,125.70 hospital bill for the initial scans dad underwent in ED, and $518.65 for "ED Attendance".
We acknowledge how incredible our public health system is, and just how blessed we are to be able to have a disability payment option, unfortunately that comes through in April.
The main reason for this page is to raise money for the cost of the hospital bills, as well as rent, food and petrol that is currently very difficult to support.
Dad worked for the past 7 years as a disability support worker, nurturing, caring, showering, providing respite for wonderful people of all abilities, and ailments, I have worked in the same industry for 3 years and in 2017, started my own business, mentoring and supporting teens with ASD.
We have often chuckled through this process about the irony of caring for people for so long and now having to do it for dad. His sense of humour hasn't gone too far, thank God.
We're asking for big things and it seems a lot to do so, but from our whole hearts, it would be such a God-send to have the financial weight lifted.
