As most of you know Nick has been suffering for 8 years now with brain tumours, and has fought long and hard.
We have been told the only thing that can now help him is a drug called Avastin, which we have known about for a few months now but at $20,000 an injection has just been unreachable. The government has just recently listed this drug on the PBS for some cancers, but not for what Nick has as its so rare, but Roche has reduced it dramatically to around $3,000 per injection.
Due to our current financial status, with Nick no longer able to work and me being his full time carer so also not earning, we are currently living of the equity in our home, we now find ourselves asking for help to fund this without having to sell our house.
So if you are in a position to do us please donate asap so we can get this much needed treatment to help save his life.
