I never in life thought I’d be making anything like this and with a heavy heart here I am!
Sadly Saturday night/ Sunday morning around 230am my brother Nick Vanik was out celebrating his birthday with his wife and some friends. They finished the night at JB Tavern where they were outside waiting for there Uber. As they were waiting for their Uber they were brutally attacked by a man and women walking down the street. My brother was attacked and shot from behind one shot to the back of the head and one on the side of his neck. No prior alterations, no verbal argument nothing at all caused this terrible tragedy!

The man who pulled the trigger is a reoccurring felon who was out looking for trouble that night. He so thoughtlessly pulled the trigger that so easily could have taken the life of a very hard working father of three beautiful children! 911 was called and he was rushedto metro. Thankfully he is on the road to recovery but unfortunately NOT YET out of the woods! Because of this awful tragedy he will unfortunately be out of work for the time being leaving him and his family in a tough spot when it comes to their financial needs! 

My brother is a guy who is always down to help anyone in need without being asked twice no matter what the situation is. Nick is the type of person who will give you the shirt off his back and not think twice about it. No matter who or how much he has helped never asks for help in return & even now when he needs it the most he stays humble and refuses to ask for the help and support he so greatly deserves!

I made this GoFund me account for him to help raise money to cover his rent and utility bills to also help provide food for his children along with the ridiculous amount of medical expenses that are already piling up & still yet to come ! 

This is a very scary heartbreaking time for our family and any uplifting kind support would be beyond appreciated !
