Help Nick get back on his Feet

On the evening of November 9th, two of the most important people in my life were involved in a major car accident. By the Grace of God, both my boyfriend Colt, and my best friend Nick Jackson miraculously survived, but Nick still has to fight for his mobility.

Colt (right), although badly bruised and battered, was able to escape the accident with a broken scapula, cuts, scrapes and will be in a sling while he heals.

Nick (left), my best friend and like my older brother, unfortunately suffered the worst from the impact losing a limb (his left foot). Nick was life flighted to a level 1 trauma unit in Houston, fighting for his life. He is one of the strongest men I know and that strength is allowing him to pull through but at a cost. He is alive, able to communicate and has all brain function. Physically, he is struggling but still staying strong. His legs are broken but have been operated on multiple times. Even after the many efforts of the doctors, it is expected that Nick will eventually receive a prosthetic leg below the knee but will have a full recovery. He will also have to go through physical therapy to gain full ability of this prosthesis.

These two boys are an incredible part of our community. Nick, in particular, has started a successful auto repair business with some other like minded and kind folk in the local area. They have built a good reputation fast and done so much to help our community instead of take advantage of it for money. Therefore, I am asking for your help to raise funds for their healing, a successful physical therapy post-op of the prosthetic and the support to their business. 

God sure did grace us by keeping them here. Colt and Nick have yet to fulfill their purpose on his earth. Please continue to pray for my boys. The support already shown by our families, friends, and community has been incredible. Anything helps, even a share to the people you know! Thank you and God bless.
