I am raising funds for my son, Nick Martinez, after he fell 16 feet from a ladder that broke while doing repairs on his home in Melrose, Ohio, on July 26, 2025. As a result of the fall, he is hospitalized with a spinal injury, four broken ribs, and a fractured wrist.

Nick is the father of two young adult children and two school-aged children (ages 12 and 14). He has a wife with a disability. Nick was laid off earlier this year and just returned to work two days before the accident; therefore, he lacks money and medical insurance.

Nick is quick to laugh and always there when others need a helping hand. He loves fishing, cookouts, and hosting family gatherings. He has worked in the construction industry since he was a teenager and has a strong work ethic.

The funds will be used to support the family with living expenses (such as housing, utilities, school supplies) and unexpected expenses.
