On October 25th, 2016 Nick Rourke started seizing in bed, collapsed to the floor and suddenly stopped breathing. After attempted CPR by his fiancé Grace and 30 minutes of AED and CPR by EMT paramedics, Nick's life came to an end leaving behind his son Ashton and fiancé amongst his mother Karryn, Grandma Pat and many many other family members, friends and coworkers.

Nick was a beloved father who adored his son and laid to rest at the happiest time of his life with everything he could've possibly imagined. He worked so hard to give his family the life that anyone could only dream of having, making it possible for his fiancé to be a stay at home mom and take care of their son full time.

He was a loyal friend, a sensitive and caring man, the hardest worker anyone ever knew and kept a smile on his face that you could hear through his voice even if you were on the other line of the phone with him. He meant so much to everyone who was surrounded by him and will be missed absolutely most dearly.

Nick's family is asking, accepting and gracious of any donations to help with the cost of a memorial service as well as help with the bills to support his fiancé and son maintain their household and being taken care of while figuring out what the next step will be as it is what Nick would've wanted.

Memorial services for Nick will be posted in updates as the family gathers the most suitable place for the celebration of Nick's life.
