Nick's 8th grade trip to DC/NYC

My former student, Nick, was signed up to go on the annual 8th grade trip to Washington DC and New York City! He was so excited and couldn't wait for the trip to come. Unfortunately, Nick's mom was diagnosed with cancer and needed multiple surgeries to fight this battle. These unforseen medical expenses have drained their savings, and though she is in remission now, their family cannot afford to send Nick on the trip.
He is a wonderful, kind, intelligent, and funny kiddo who deserves to be a kid. He has shown strength and maturity while his mom was sick and helped take care of the family.
We often don't get chances to give children back pieces of their childhood, but we can with Nick. So if you can, please help me send a great kid on an educational adventure of his childhood!
