NICK'S JOURNEY
September 7, 2018...we received a message from our dear friend, Trisha letting us know that her husband, Nick, had received some terrible news.
On September 2, 2018, Nick found out that he had another brain tumor (also had one as a child). Within two weeks, he had undergone a five hour surgery to remove the tumor. He then spent several days in ICU to heal and recovery. Nick was not able to stand on his own. His motor skills and speech we affected as well.
Pathology results came in and this is the message we received from Trish--"I dropped to my kneed and praised our Almighty Father in heaven! Pathology reports came back. His tumor is grade 1 and it is benign!" Needless to say, we were all so relieved.
October 6, 2018--Trisha messaged us again asking for prayers. Nick was being transferred back to the hospital to have a stint placed to drain fluid. The brain could not heal with all of the pressure.
October 30, 2018--Nick was supposed to come home. However, they received terrible news that the tumor was back. They believe the tumor was originally malignant and very aggressive. They went back in for a six hour surgery and removed the tumor the next day. The surgeon got as much of the tumor as possible. He will need to have treatment as soon as he heals (no sooner than three weeks).

THE COMPTON FAMILY'S PRAYER
A note from Trisha...
"We pray that Nick continues to heal quickly, no infection and that the tumor doesn't start growing before treatment can begin. We are praying for a MIRACLE! For God to remove this tumor and all the negative affects it's caused on Nick's body (all motor skills have been affected and still has double vision).
God is good. I truly believe he's going to finish what He has started. (Philippians 1:6).
Thank you all so much for the prayers and words. We definitely are feeling them."

A LITTLE ABOUT THE COMPTON FAMILY
Nick and Trisha met in college and have been married for 14 years. They have two beautiful children, Jack (10) and Mia (7). Both Nick and Trisha are the sweetest, most loving parents and friends. They have a STRONG faith in our Heavenly Father and are trusting in His plan.

Most importantly, we urge you to lift this family up in continual prayer. We have had an exorbitant amount of people ask us how to donate to this family. I tell ya--it has been so touching. People all over the world wanting to help a family in need. It's incredibly touching.
