We are asking for your help. Nick and I just got married and moved into a beautiful home. Unfortunately our home has flooded about 6in under water. We have tried to prevent this by doing many different things and nothing seems to be working. This is the 4th time the house has flooded this badly. With my health condition being a kidney transplant recipient I cannot afford to get mold inside the home. As well with another surgery taking place this month we cannot afford this to be happening. Now, we face a time of overwhelming need.

In 2019, I underwent a life-saving kidney transplant after sudden Kidney failure due to possible black mold that was later discovered in our home. With recovery still in progress and with an upcoming surgery for an cochlear implant due to sudden deafness we continue to get hit with another crisis when a flood struck our home. Beyond the financial burden of repairs and recovery, we are also dealing with a heightened concern for my health, as mold from the flooding poses a serious risk to her weakened immune system.

We are raising funds to help cover the urgent costs of recovery, including:

- Repairs to property to keep water away from their home ie… French drains and sealed gutters. Proper grading

- Addressing any health-related concerns, particularly around mold exposure

This is an incredibly difficult time for Nick and myself as we face financial and health-related struggles. We are calling on the community that they have lovingly served to come together in support. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly to helping us ensure they have a safe space for Nick and a safe space for myself to heal and recover.
