Returning home from three weeks on Dead&Co tour, we were stopped by a Utah Sheriff. We were profiled for our California plates, the officer did a stop and sniff and went back to his car. He came back after three other cars arrived and proceeded to inform me that they were searching the vehicle because they smelled Marijuana. We gave up all our Marijuana and informed him we were patients with prescriptions. When they asked why we thought it was a good idea to wear tie dye in Utah, I told them I had nothing to hide. Little did I know... Upon finding some psychedelics that I wasn't aware were in the car, I was arrested for possession of mushrooms, acid and the medical Marijuana. Joan and the other two occupants were charged with possession of paraphernalia and Marijuana, all with mandatory court appearances, thankfully the officers were good enough to not tag the same charges on everyone, as they could have. While tour was extremely successful for us, all of the money we had made for August and September rent and bills is going into this now.  I'm asking anybody who would like to please help by donating to my legal defense. I'm not denying my responsibility for what all was found in my car since it is my car, and I'm working night and day to cover my fees and expenses with artwork production and sales. Our lawyer is a good man, he's charging us a flat rate to see this to resolution. If I can just cover our legal defense expenses, I'll take care of my fines on our own by working extra hard to produce and sell a ton of art.  I'm so very grateful for all of you and the love and support you afford us. With the help of the greater GDF, this WILL NOT break us... the lessons have indeed been learned.  WE WILL SURVIVE.  WE WILL GET BY.  AND NO! OUR LOVE WILL NOT FADE AWAY!!  My heart is heavy, my weight is large. Anything you can spare to help us is extremely appreciated, but again, I know this is my responsibility and it's not up to you all to cover my mistakes.
