Our dear friends, the Wright Family learned this week that their son Nick will need another open heart surgery.

Nick was admitted to the hospital last Saturday with sepsis.  After many tests his doctors discovered he has endocarditis, an infection of the heart.  On Tuesday, February 23rd he will have his 3rd open heart surgery.  Nick was born with a CHD (congenital heart defect) called TOF (tetralogy of fallot) which is relatively rare. Nick’s first surgery was when he was 9 months old, the second when he was 9, a non-surgical valve replacement when he was 15 and now this one.

It is obvious from everyone following Kami’s Facebook updates that the Wrights are loved.  So many people want to help in some way so we thought maybe we could try to help with mounting medical bills as that may be the biggest help we can offer.  The Wrights have health insurance but their portion will still be high after two hospitals, an ambulance ride, major surgery and uncovered services/doctors that are out of their control.  If you would like to make a donation of any size, please feel free to do so here or through Kami’s Venmo account - @KamiWright.
