Hello! My name is Jessica and if you're reading this, well, here we are! I've started this gofundme for my bro, Nick Wirtz.

Let me give you a little bit of Nick's story.

On October 8th, Nick was found unresponsive at his home by a friend. Nick was taken to the ER and soon was diagnosed with meningitis. Nick woke up a week later thinking Bush was the president. The meningitis caused Nick to go into heart and kidney failure. He left that hospital visit having to go to dialysis five times a week. In February while leaving a dialysis appointment, Nick fell and broke his femur in 3 places. Back to the hospital he goes to have surgery on his leg. After another short stay, Nick finally thinks he's well enough to go home. At home he begins to have trouble breathing. He goes to the ER a few more times to have some plural fluid pulled off his lungs. On his last trip there the Drs gave Nick some devastating news, that he has non-hodgkin lymphoma. Nick is still in the hospital and has just finished his first round of chemotherapy. Being in the hospital more than at work, Nick's funds have diminished fast. His bills, on the other hand, haven't. His trusty cell phone held together by duct tape has bit the dust and as we all know "aint nothing going on but the rent!" He needs a little help!
