As some of you may have heard, Nick West (Caveman) was in a motorcycle accident the evening of July 23rd. A dear jumped out and hit him from the side while travelling home from getting food. Luckily, he kept the bike controlled and upright but when coming to a stop to assess what had happened, he realized something was very wrong. The buck that ran into Nick, lowered his antlers and made contact with the leg, ankle and foot, breaking Nick's ankle and the injuries/tears that go along with that type of injury. Nick was taken to Meritus in Hagerstown where he underwent a procedure to get the ankle reset for blood flow purposes. The doctors quickly realized that due to the severity of his injuries, he would need to go to Baltimore trauma to have the surgery done as quickly as possible.

Surgery was successful but Nick remains in the hospital for now with the hope that he will be able to return home on Monday, but they are taking it day by day. Nick will be down and out for quite a while with a long road of recovery ahead of him.
