My father, Nick Vera Cruz, passed on December 9, 2020. It was sudden and unexpected. He was a father to eight and a grandfather to eight.

In recent years, his health deteriorated -- he started receiving dialysis treatment after his high blood pressure medication lead to kidney failure. If it weren't for his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, Nick would have been completely homeless. He left this world, free from his pain, free from his debts, and at peace now with God.

I am reaching out to all of my friends and family to help contribute to his funeral arrangements. He left without life insurance or savings.  The money will go toward his final resting place and funeral services. I am asking everyone to give what they can in the next 5 days so we can fully fund his final arrangements -- which will be handled by a number of close relatives including myself.
