Nick Shoemaker was a bright shining light.  If you were lucky enough to be in his orbit, you most certainly are left with memories that will last a lifetime...and stories to tell for generations :)

His humor, mischief, beautiful voice, sincerity, talent, courage, and vulnerability were uniquely his own.  No one could make you laugh harder or cry deeper, and the hole left by his passing is vast.

He loved to sing and play the guitar.

He was an EXTREMELY talented actor with a huge bright career ahead of him.

He loved dogs. A LOT.  And his late cat, Cooley. And horses. And pretty much any animal.

He was the hardest worker.

It was best not to dare him to do something because he would do it and then some. Ha!

He was a good 'ol boy who could fix or build anything.

He was always giving to those around him in any way he could. If you needed Nick, he would be there. He was the salt of the earth.

But most of all, he loved his family. Rob (his dad), Lisa (his mom), Matt (his brother), Lauren (his sister), and Dottie (his grandma) were his world. He was a family man through and through and his heart was full of love for them.

For this reason, we (his friends) created this campaign to help ease the financial burden on his beautiful family.  Every cent of this campaign will go to the cost of his final expenses. Please consider donating in honor of our one-of-a-kind friend.
