Nick 'Scotty' Scott

As some of you may be aware we lost a dear friend recently. Nick was a larger than life character who put up a brave fight against Cancer. He sadly leaves behind his wife Charlotte & children Lauren , Isabella , Kyle and Harry. 

Nick lived in Dogsthorpe Peterborough before moving to Gunthorpe , Grantham and Bourne. Whilst in Dogsthorpe he attended Deacons Secondary school.

Nick was an avid and lifetime Newcastle supporter and loved the game. He played for many local teams including the Ortonians, Railway & Royal Oak.

Along with his passion for football he loved keeping fit and was a member of Bannatynes gym at Peterborough. 

I have met with many people who are shocked and saddened at Nicks loss. It's not surprising as Nick’s personality was larger than life… he made you feel as if you’ve known him for decades. 

Nicks positive outlook and tremendous sense of Humour made him very popular and friendship with him was an easy affair.  It's no surprise that many have been shocked and saddened by his loss.

We can only barely imagine what his family is going through and yet so close to Christmas. We can never take away the sadness of his passing but we hope setting up this page will be an opportunity for his friends and family to express their gratitude in knowing Nick and support his loving family.
