Hello, thanks for visiting Nick’s Recovery Fund page. On June 26th, Nick Ryan was in a catastrophic car accident while traveling for work. He suffered life threatening injuries and was life flighted from the scene to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Thankfully, his bodily injuries were stabilized and he will survive the accident. Unfortunately, he has suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) called "diffuse axonal injury". This injury is known for having a long and slow recovery. He will need months to over a year of rehab. We expect that Nick will not be able to work for at least the next year, and may experience the impacts of his injury for the rest of his life. Please consider helping his family with all the expenses that they will incur while helping him heal.
