Nick Reese

Greetings to everyone!

My name is Vicki Dean. My best friend is Leticia Garcia (Nicholas' mom). As a caregiver of a cancer patient, I understand the heartache and stress my friend is living through.

As most of you may know, back in April of this year Nicholas was diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer that metastasized to his lungs.

Immediately following surgery he began his battle to fight this disease with aggressive treatment. During his treatment, Nick persevered through this tough journey and continued to work almost daily against what doctors said or expected.

His request for unemployment and disability was unfortunately denied. With the help of his parents and friends financially, he was able to make ends meet to cover living expenses and anything else in between.

After three months of treatment his doctor cleared him for no further treatment.

Regrettably, after blood work and PET scan follow ups, Nick was told the cancer is back and in his lymph nodes. He has begun treatment again and hospitalized during this time.

Stress plays a huge part of how this disease advances in the body. Undoubtedly this process will be highly challenging for Nick and financial worries shouldn't be something that inhibits him from fighting and getting better.

Starting this Go Fund Me page would truly help alleviate some daunting stresses so that he may focus on his health rather than worry.
