Nick Mowers Memorial Dog Park

Our dear friend Nick Mowers passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm in 2013 at the age of 36.  Nick touched the lives of so many people with his quick wit, love of music, unconditional friendship, and most passionatley, his love of animals.  In an attempt to honor this incredible human being, the Nick Mowers Memorial Fund was established in 2014 by a group of his closest friends and family members.  This fund was originally set up as a Scholarship fund for Pennsville HS seniors pursuing Art and/or Education in college.  Since the organization's start, we have given away over $7000 in Scholarships.  We now have a unique fundraising opportunity to memorialize our dear friend Nick forever.  We are trying to raise $5000 through crowdfunding, and the Memorial Fund will match the $5000 so we can build a dog park in Pennsville Township, Nick's hometown.  The township of Pennsville has graciously earmarked a piece of property for the project, and will allow us naming rights if we fully fund the project.  No Tax-payer money will be used to build the park.   Our goal is to have the dog park fully funded and built as soon as possible, as we are nearing a four year anniversary of Nick's death. This dog park will be free for all to enjoy and will serve as a gathering place for like-minded animal lovers.
