This past February our father was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma. After much consideration, he decided to move ahead with a surgical procedure to remove the cancerous cells despite not having adequate health coverage. As is typical when you are uncovered by proper insurance, the procedure and treatments that he has had and will undergo in the months to come will be extremely costly.

He had the cancer removed on March 1st and thankfully surgery went well. Despite that, there is still a long road to recovery. Our dad has been and will continue to be unable to work for the next few weeks.

Losing our mother to cancer back in 2002 has made this situation all the more challenging. That being said, we are going forward with a positive mindset and feel hopeful that our father will have a full recovery. We have confidence in the decisions made with treatment, diet and lifestyle changes as well as the care he has been given and will continue to receive.

Our father is so precious to us and we are so thankful for those who feel the same. We have an amazing network of friends and family and are so privileged to have their (your!) support.
