Get Nick & Mary Back On Their Feet

Donation protected

The 2016 Flooding in Louisiana that has taken place over the last week has brough devastation to thousands of people. These include Nick Dupelle and Mary Brennan, former residents of Westfield, Massachusetts.

Nick, former soldier with the U.S. Army National Guard, was the first of our family to evacuate. As his home began to flood he moved his daughter, Lilly, and girlfriend, Abby to our brother's home which suffered only minor damage due to heavy rainfall and has since become a safe haven for multiple people. At last report Nick's residence was completely submerged with only portions of the roof above water.

Mary who is known for helping as many people as she can in as many ways as she can, has lost her home in Louisiana as well with flood waters continuing to rise total damage is unknown. Nick and Ben rescued as much as they could but their last visit to the house was in waist height water known to have risen in the last 24 hours. She is safe with her dog Kirby in Massachusetts at this time but plans to return to Louisiana and rebuild her life with her sons by her side.

I am Nick's sister, Mary's youngest child, Casey Anne. These two people who would give you the shirt of their backs, literally, have lost everything they have. While all people are safe the coming weeks and months will prove strenuous at best, and impossible at worst. Nick and Ben have worked hard the last 4 days to aid as many people, and animals, as possible in escaping flooded areas. The losses are great but helping others is how Nick was raised.

We need your help. Our family has lost a great deal, not only Nick and Mary (mom) but several other members of our family have nothing left. As they try to rebuild from nothing we hope you will support them in any way you can. If donation's aren't possible then share this! If you want to help but cash is not available we will do our best to keep you informed of ways to provide aid to those affected by the storm.

Funds will go directly to Nick Dupelle and Mary Brennan to aid them in rebuilding their lives in practical ways, clothes, food, shelter. Replacing vital records, destroyed cars, and finding new places to live.

You know them. They are your friends, family, your neighbors. Help them through donations or sharing this page!Above: A street covered in water, center lines visible until the road rises above the flooding.
