Nick Lang is the son of Sandy and Gale Lang.

The Lang, family is coming together to help raise money for Nick and his incurred medical bills.

He has stage 4 testicular cancer that has spread to the abdomen and lungs. Most of the harm is caused by a big tumor between his kidney and pancreas. In December, the testicle was removed. He had his first round of chemo and developed an infection from it/probably the chemo port. The virus entered into his circulation, traveled through the heart, and caused two strokes. We discovered this morning that he also has a lung infection. They weren't sure he'd make it through the week if the infection wasn't under control. Also, they can't administer chemo or act on the malignancy until the infection is cleared.

The initial diagnosis was rather optimistic. Typically, testicular cancer is curable. The fundamental issue has been that he took so long to address his difficulties last fall.
