Nick Koons Recovery

On Friday Sept 25 , our beloved friend ,Nick 
Koon was involved in a very tragic accident 
that resulted In the loss of his right leg. 

Nick is so very lucky to be alive. His aorta / femoral artery was severed at the scene where he almost bled to death.Nick was airlifted to HarborView where he went into immediate life saving surgery . The surgical team was forced to preform a mid thigh amputation to save him.

The instant  actions take by Nicks friends  ,seconds after the accident  occurred ultimately saved his life, Followed by the  extreme speed of the  responders from the carlsborg emergency station and immediate Initiation of the life flight helicopter, our Nick Koon is alive. 

Nick is a staple in many of our lives. He is best friends to so many of us.   He is the last one to ask for help but the first one to offer it. Now more than ever he is going to need all
of our support to help see him thru his recovery.  I’m hoping to raise enough money to maintain Nicks life expenses so he can take the time he needs to heal and when he is ready he can go back to his own home , continue to raise his beautiful daughter and live a happy independent life.
