My Dad, Nick, lost his brave battle with Glioblastoma on Friday morning, 7 months after diagnosis. Glioblastoma is an aggressive grade 4 brain cancer with very poor prognosis. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet only 1% of the national cancer budget is spent on brain tumour research. Nick was 59 and still hoped for many years with us. We will not be having a funeral as this is not what he would have wanted, so we have a set up a Go Fund Me to fund a day of research in his name.
