In Memory of Nick Kerkenbush

Dear Friends,

On September 11th, 2018 the world lost unexpectedly a loving father, caring husband and selfless friend. Tragically, Nick (age 40) suffered cardiac arrest while at work. As a Compliance Safety and Health Officer for OSHA he dedicated his life to helping others for over 17 years. He was a proud union steward for his office and devoted time and energy assisting his fellow union members. Now we're asking for your help.

Nick leaves behind a grieving family, which includes his most precious priorities, his 8 and 10 year old sons. There will be a void. Nick loved coaching soccer, watching football (UW-Badgers were his favorite) and smoking/grilling for family and friends. He was known to leave surprise pies on friends' doorsteps. The bereaved family is trying hard to come to terms with such a tragic and sudden loss. We are asking for donations to cover funeral and memorial costs, as well as living expenses. Nick unfortunately did not have life insurance and work benefits may take months to process.
