One of Mcgrath's great young Associates - Nicholas Durkin - is about to embark on a brave journey of cancer treatment which we pray will free him from this dreadful disease.

Nick underwent a series of tests earlier this year where doctors found cancerous cells which resulted in months of aggressive chemotherapy and Radiotherapy coupled with a specific diet to attack the cancer. Nicholas has been very unwell during this time with very low energy levels and significant weight loss but to his credit, Nick has shown up to work most days to support his team.

On Monday 7th May, Nicholas will undergo a complex 8 hour operation to remove his colon which we all pray will rid his body of this dreadful cancer. The recovery will be slow, we expect Nicholas to be away for over 4 weeks with at least 2-3 weeks in hospital.

As a result of his bravery, we are collecting money to buy him some gifts to get him through what may be a lonely time in hospital.
