Dear friends and family, it breaks my heart writing this. I am Nick Diaz's daughter, Alexis Diaz. On June 1, 2023, my dad was in a bad accident. He is in the ICU Trauma Unit. He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent a brain operation which included a craniotomy (skull removal) in order to remove a huge blood clot from his brain. Per the neurosurgeon, there were also several hematomas as well as bruised brain that had to be removed. He also has several broken ribs and road rash all over his body. My dad was placed into a medically induced coma in order for him to heal from the surgery. The doctors are beginning a vent weaning process. I will give updates as I can. He will have a very long road to recovery.

In addition to love, support and prayers for my dads full recovery, I'm asking for financial help for his mounting medical expenses. UPDATE: dad was moved out of icu and 3 weeks later moved back to icu due to his breathing difficulties had to be put back on a breathing tube. Doctor said not to keep them on long so they did surgery put in a trach and feeding tube for my dad, started occupational and physical therapy again after this procedure.
