UPDATE: 12/11/19
So on Friday night around 10:00 me and abbie were watching tv like normal, my stomach started to hurt and we went to bed, at one point i turned to abbie telling her i didnt feel right, and within a couple of seconds i started to sieze out and faint, next thing I remember is abbie standing over me on the phone with 911, the next hour is a blur of fainting and coming back multiple times, i then remember specifically getting into the ER and thinking “this is it...” my eyes were wide open but i could not see anything but flashing colors and the feeling of my heart palpitating. After few min i was brought back to being stable. At which point a doctor had came in to the room with only abbie , my dad, and myself. He continued to tell us that my splein had ruptured and i have massive internal bleeding. usually this would take a quick operation to fix but due to my having an LVAD and being on blood thinners that wasnt a possibility. At which point the DR. Told us straight to our face that i will bleed out and die in a couple of hours and there was nothing they could do. Then he left..... the feeling of what had just happened made me numb I couldn’t even think. I sat there thinking i had a couple hours left to live and it changed me. .... an hour passed and this same DR. Came back on with my heart team dr saying “nvm there is somthing we can do.” Like who the fuck tells a patient there dead with out knowing all possibilities. Luckily i was rushed to the operating room where they proceeded to perform a radial arty insitintion and somhow able to emboloze (cauterize) off my blood flow to my slpein, hopefully stoping the bleeding. Everything smooth as butter. I was brought to the ICU where i had been untill today where i was finally moved to a normal room. I have about 3 units of blood just sitting in my abdomen which is causing me excruciating pain. At this point im waiting for it to be reabsorbed to my body, untill then ill be doing my best to relax at st. Lukes hospital, if anyone wants to visit please let me know, the more the merrier. I was also asked by some to include my go fund me link from last year if anyone is generous enough, everything is appreciated. Im glad and thankfull for the fact im still here on earth and greatfull for everyday i have left. Thank you eveveryone. God bless.
